Crispi Nevada - Customer Review
Matt EricksenMarch 13, 2016Testimonial

I recently purchased the Crispi Nevada boots for an over the counter tag elk hunt in Colorado.  As great as the boots felt when I tried them on, I did not have a lot of time to break them in and was a little worried taking them on the hunt.  We packed three miles in to a remote cabin and then hunted the surrounding national forest land each day.

The boots were immediately comfortable and supportive without any ill-fitting spots, even with a heavy pack.  On day four we spotted a huge bull three valleys away above treeline.  We hiked about eight miles, mostly in the dark, the following morning and connected with this bull at 12,000 feet in a blizzard. Overall, I hiked more than 60 miles and shot this bull ten miles from the nearest road.  Throughout the hunt my feet were always warm, dry and comfortable.

Without these boots I would not have been able to cover so much ground and share tagging a monster public land bull with my Dad and son. Thank you for a fantastic boot for the mountain hunter!

Mid Season Boot Selection

Many of us are in the process of swapping out some of our early-season gear and adding in our mid-season kit. Which for most of us means your garage or gear room probably looks like a bomb went off. Along with heavier base layers and more insulation pieces you may want to think about switching boots. It's about time to clean up and condition those lightweight, early-season boots and break out something a bit more heavy duty and warm.

Boot Care by HuntDIY.com

It's no secret, most of us don't take care of our boots like we should. We go out scouting, hiking, hunting and upon returning home our boots get pitched into the closet/garage and there they sit, dirty and waiting for a little TLC. The reality is that the TLC our boots crave seldom comes.

Lacing Style Alternatives

Feet come in all shapes and sizes. Long, skinny, wide, short and all kinds of combinations in-between. Boots come in a few shapes and sizes too but not nearly as many as there are different feet. This makes finding the right boot fit sometimes tedious.
